Ableton link fails in 5.6.7 release

  • Version of djay 5.6.7
  • DJ CONTROL MIX

A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

  • Ableton link provides a fixed value

B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Ableton link on - Rekordbox translate it into midi clock - LoopMidi sends midi clock to Qlc+

C) EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • Qlc+ follows the clok and synchronize the lights

D) ACTUAL RESULTS:

  • With DJAY 5.6.7 Qlc+ receive from DJAY a fixed value of 499 milliseconds corrsponding to 120 BPM. The previous release worked fine

Yes, the previoua release works perfectly. Yes i Will provider a video rhis evening.

I uninstalled all the software (DJAY, RekordBox, LoopMidi, QLC+4) and cleaned out all the registry files using CCleaner. Afterward, I reinstalled everything, and now—magically—it works. I don’t know what happened, and honestly, I can’t say for sure if the problem was caused by the DJAY update, but everything is working again now. My apologies, and thank you so much for the assistance!
