About the speed of the song relative to one rotation of the JOG on the DJ controller

  • Version of djay 5.1.2:

On a real turntable, at around 130 BPM,
one rotation advances one measure.

When using Djay, even if I rotate the JOG on my DJ controller once, it’s slow, only advancing about 1/4 the distance of the turntable.

It makes juggling difficult.

Are there any settings I can change to improve this?

Check the time of the song that advances with one JOG revolution on Djay.
It’s slower than SL1200.
Is it possible to do the same?

When reversing a song with JOG,
I have to rotate it many times
It’s slow and hard.

Traktor lets you juggle with a controller just like you would a turntable.

By any chance, are you still seeing this behavior in the latest version, v5.2.8?

Additionally, what controllers are you using that you are experiencing this with?

・Hercules STARLIGHT（NORMAL）
・TraktorS2（with CustomMIDIMAP）

Both have the same behavior.
It won’t work unless you rotate it more than a turntable.
