Hi there, I’m loving Neural Mix Pro, I find it really good for quantising some of my vinyl rips that have slightly wonky timing, so much quicker than manually warping in Ableton so thank you!
The title says it all really, please can you add an option for exporting as a FLAC file?
Also, if the file has embedded artwork, please can this be also carrie dover to the new FLAC?
Welcome to the Community! Thanks for the suggestion @Phil909. I have forwarded this to the dev team for consideration. In the meantime, please use the blue Vote button at the top left of this page so we can gauge user demand for this feature. Thanks!
More generally, in DJay the choice of either Low quality mp3 or full quality wav (very large files for mixes of course) in recording is very limited/ frustrating.
one method of exporting as flac… is to feed your mix or tracks directly into a external DAW, via blackhole virtual audio channels… at which point you record the feed directly… then use the export to flac…
i know that the reaper DAW exports to Flac once the mix/tracks have been printed on the timeline..
so the routing would be as follows
Djay pro external outs–> Blackhole channels–> DAW/Host blackhole inputs–> Press Record → hard audio output
once the recording has printed on the timeline… export as FLAC/MP3/WAV or whatever the DAW can export
Reaper is great in this respect…
once you have the routing in place… many other options become apparent, VST’s, monitoring levels just to name a couple
so just to clarify the blackhole virtual audio channels cpabilities… and using the info provided by chatgpt.. it states the following support
Sample Rate up to 768 kHz (8 k–768 k range)
Bit Depth Whatever your applications support (commonly 16, 24, 32-bit float)
Channels 2, 16, 64, 128, 256 channels (or custom)
