Add functionality to move an existing playlist or playlist folder

Hi there,

With Djay Pro on iOS it would be great to be able to move playlists that have been created to a different folder, to assist with a maturing collection.

Currently, with version 5.2.4 you can:

1.) Create either a playlist, a smart playlist or a playlist folder.
2.) Create a playlist or a smart playlist in a given folder.
3.) Rename an existing playlist or smart playlist or a playlist folder.
4.) Delete a given playlist, smart playlist, or playlist folder.

What would be great would be to be able to drag n’ drop (move) a created playlist, smart playlist or playlist folder to somewhere else in the existing structure.

From what I can tell through testing, in order to “move” a playlist from one folder to another you have to first create a new playlist in the new location, import all the tracks into that playlist from the old one, and then delete the old one.

As a use case, if you’re trying to “archive” (for example) 10-20 playlists from this year into a new playlist folder called “2024”, you’re going to have to manually create, import and delete up to 20 playlists to achieve the same thing.

Definitely a Quality of Life function I think.

Thanks for your consideration.

Kind regards,

James
