Hello again @Davidv100, thanks for taking the time to lay all of this out, and for the detailed posts you’ve shared here over the past few months. I can hear how frustrating this has been, and I appreciate you sticking with the conversation.
I know you’ve been looking for a clear answer, so I want to give you the most honest one I can. I checked with the dev team back in February (post #151 above Add SoundSwitch Support - #151 by Slak_Jaw ). SoundSwitch integration is on their radar, but it isn’t part of the current development focus. It hasn’t been ruled out, and it isn’t scheduled yet either. That’s the real reason you haven’t seen a “we won’t do it” or an “it’s on the roadmap.” Neither would be accurate right now, and I’d rather be straight with you than give you an answer that isn’t true.
Please know the demand really is being heard. At 103 votes, this is one of the most-requested topics on the forum, and the team does weigh votes alongside feasibility and resources when setting priorities (more on that here). I’ve also sent the SoundSwitch 2.11 / Rekordbox news and the current vote count directly to the devs so they have the full picture.
What I can’t do is announce roadmap decisions myself. Algoriddim doesn’t publish roadmaps or timelines. That is company policy, not a lack of interest in what you and others have written here. I realize this isn’t the yes you were hoping for, and I’m sorry I can’t offer more yet. As soon as I have something concrete to share, I’ll post it here.
