Akai APC MK2 Mini, LED on/off colors resetting

Hi, al those controllerd to map is done woth no problem ad all.
When i reload djay everything is mapped as it should.
Only problem I have with the akai is after restrarting djay, only the midi ON color is shown.
On hitting the button on the akai nothing happens other dan the yellow color 106
The min valeu is set to 16 for the red color and workt fine for all knob .. Until I restart djay
When I hooked up the akai, I just started mappein and did not changes anything
So not in drum mode or other.. Plug it in and started mapping.

advance control configuration:
Type se ton
advanced midi out
Channel is set to 6
Min value 16 red
Max value 16 yellow
Blend / invert off
How I hooked all up
The akkai and the novation goose in the x touch.
X touch goos in the hub
Flx4 goos in the hub
Hub goos to ipad
Audio out goos via a sound module U-control UCA202
Conneted to PC front in , than through voicemeeter potato for nice surround sound

When I go to back to the controller setting, all settings are shonwn how I set it, but it looks like this note OFF is not send to akai I thnk. Or its not saved right.

So I hooked it up with only the akai, but same problem shows.

I tested the akai with ableton live, made some clips, set colors and the akai copies the colors how I set it in ableton with no problem .
So maiby I am missing something or it’s a bug still has to be resolved.

Updated my flx4 to v107 now latest but still same problem somehow the note on/off is not correctly send to my akai..
The problem is that I now cant see with is playing wile all button have the same color . So hoop you can find out what the problem is… or maiby somone els has the same problem and solved it ?

hi.. i removed the saved Akai file to start from scratch.
so i made new settings and as you can see at the start works how it should.

also tested it with the test button.. all is oke.
after that i restarted djay and it stops showing the red part
.. the note OFF part

so hoop this helps you to solve this..

Hi @johnnyboyx, thanks for the video. Do you experience the same LED issue if you only connect the AKAI APC to your iPad through the USB Hub and disconnect all of the other MIDI devices?

Yes . On both option only connected to the iPad with no hub. Or with hub, i gets same results.

Thanks for checking @johnnyboyx. I spoke with our engineering team and they confirmed that the LEDs on this hardware behave in an unusual way. Unfortunately, this device is not officially supported and our team does not have one in the office to check. So, there isn’t any way they can assist you at the moment. Hopefully someone else in the Community has this hardware and can offer some suggestions or workarounds. Sorry we couldn’t be of more help.

hi, thanks for you response . i also have the novation launch control XL and tried this one and here i works ok, but only on channel one, but that could be the novation it self. normally general midi GM i normalized for keyboard / piano, so does not matter where you hooked it up, it will work, but unfortunately not for channel midi out led control. so i need to contact Akai and see where they com up with.. if the problem can be solved , i will let you know so you can help others whit this problem ..thaks again for help.
