  • Device model (e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen): MacBook Pro 2018 15" Touchbar
  • Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1): 15.1
  • Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2): 5.2.4
  • Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro): Reloop Mixon 8 Pro

Summary of the issue:
I recently uploaded 15 new tracks into Algoriddim DJ Pro. At that time, I still had the six thousand plus tracks in the folders within Algoriddim DJ Pro. When I finished mixing those 15 new tracks I moved to my pre-existing tracks within Algoriddim DJ Pro only to find out they were all gone. I started to re-upload my tracks to Algoriddim DJ Pro. I uploaded a few thousand tracks and then moved some from “My Music” to another folder within Algoriddim DJ Pro. I then deleted the tracks from the other folder to find out they were deleted from the “My Music” folder too. I am still in the process of re-uploading everything. Why did this happen how do I prevent this from happening again?

How to reproduce the issue:

If you’re putting tracks on to your computer then you’re downloading, not uploading.

The tracks have already been downloaded to my computer. I am referring to uploading them into Algoriddim DJ Pro

No, adding tracks to DJ software is not “uploading”.

Ok importing data. You have been very helpful

Hi @James_McAlice_Photog, please try the following:

  1. Open System Settings
  2. Go to Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music
  3. If djay is not list there, click + and add djay.
  4. Restart djay and see if the local library loads.

Thanks!

Thank you for the tip. I will give this a go after work and respond with my findings
