The djay deck does not appear on the CDJ-3000X source selection screen.
Please support the CDJ-3000X with djay pro.

After pressing the [Source] button, is [Software Control] available?

Of course I do this.
But djay decks never appeared.

Seems as though CDJ-3000X is not listed as compatible hardware yet.

I have a gig in a few hours using 3000x’s I’ll let you know if I have the same problem

I had the same issue as you @Akifumi_Konishi

Looks like Djay Pro compatibility with CDJ 3000 took about 8 months so still have a while to go

8 months is a very long time.
The equipment at the club where I mainly perform has changed from CDJ-3000 to CDJ-3000X, so it looks like things will continue to be tough for me as I use djay pro.

This hardware is now supported with the latest djay 5.5 release:

  • Added native plug-and-play support for CDJ-3000X and XDJ-1000MK2 (macOS, Windows), and DDJ-XP1
  • CDJ-3000X (requires updated firmware): full native integration with deck control, waveform display, and track browsing (macOS, Windows)

Hi,

Does this mean that the XDJ1000MK2 supports large waveforms?
If so, is there an update planned that XDJ 700 will also support this?

Hi @ronaldkr, welcome to the Community! Yes, the screens on the XDJ-1000, XDJ-1000mk2 and XDJ-700 are all now supported with djay on macOS and Windows.

Thanx for your reply.
It looks like nothing have changed with the XDJ700.
Large wave forms are still not supported. Can you confirm if this should work or not?
(and if the XDJ1000MK2 is acting the same).

  2. Are you running djay 5.6.1 on a macOS or Windows device?

Hi @ronaldkr, our engineering team investigated this further. It turns out that the XDJ-1000 Mk1 and XDJ-700 don’t support big waveforms over HID from the hardware side - this applies to all DJ software, not just djay. However, the XDJ-1000 Mk2 supports both waveforms. I hope that helps!
