I don’t understand either
Hello, I would like to buy the AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ. Now I read that DJ Pro is not compatible
Are you planning to support it or not? It would be a shame because I would then have to change the DJ software
Thanks for the feedback

Hi @DJSIGGI please use search before creating new topics. I have merged your new topic with this existing one. This hardware is currently not supported. However, please use the blue Vote button at the top left of this page to show your interest in adding support for this hardware. Thanks!
Agreed, would be great to have a mapping for the XDJ-AZ. I assume (once people finally get the opportunity to buy it!) it will be a very popular all-in-one controller.
Yes I also need it! I love the XDJ-AZ and Dj Pro app.
I starting making my own midi mapping.
it is posible a lot is working! only I can’t get de jogwheel settings making good working!
sombody can help?
Hi @Basvanhees, welcome to the community. The linked post below might be of some help regarding jogwheel MIDI mapping. This is for a different controller, but similar settings should work with the AZ.
Hey Thanks!!!
I Try but not working ;=( ik have Jockwheel C33 Deck 1Scratch
and I set Note A1too scratching Mode and advance too ROTARY Speed slow.
other Tips? Thanks
Hi @Basvanhees, you’re welcome. I don’t have any other suggestions other than to play around with the Speed settings and Reaction settings to see if you can get the feel you’re looking for.
Have you found any mapping for the AZ Yet? I’m a neural mixer and I would love to be able to with this controller. SOS
Pretty please! Any word at all on an ETA? Love love, love the DJ pro software, it’s by far my favorite, but I have to practice on club gear (AZ) for muscle memory since I do a ton of sample/stems performance stuff
Hi @Mark_Colwell, welcome to the Community! We do not have an ETA to share for official support of this hardware. However, our dev team is aware of user demand for the XDJ-AZ. I will share more news here when I have it. In the meantime, please refer to the linked topic below for more details on how our voting system works:
Hi guys. Does anyone know if AZ is Ios compatible? Or does it just work with Mac and PC?
Really good question this. All depends as well if the AZ device is class compliant. That I’m not sure of. Hopefully it is. Be class if it is and they get the screens to work.
Yeah. Unfortunately no answers on the web neither. It’s what’s holding me back from getting an AZ.
Appears to be class compliant with Mac OS. Does this mean it’s class compliant for iOS to? I don’t know be good to know though.
Drivers & Firmware
The AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ is class-compliant on macOS but requires manufacturer-specific drivers when
used with Windows operating systems.
From serato website
Not sure if true but……
Yes, the XDJ-AZ is class compliant for iOS, meaning you can use it with your iPhone or iPad by connecting it via USB and utilizing the “rekordbox for iOS” app to manage and play music from your device on the XDJ-AZ; you can use the Link Export feature from rekordbox for Mac/Windows or iOS/Android to transfer playlists and track information to the device.
Key points about XDJ-AZ and iOS compatibility:
- Software compatibility:
The XDJ-AZ works with the “rekordbox for iOS” app, allowing you to control the unit directly from your iOS device.
So. In theory. Could IT work with djay pro too? The important part is that it is compatible as an audio interface. The midi mapping we can do ourselves.
I think it will be if compatible with Rekordbox iOS.
Yes. But shouldn’t it work for djpro. If it’s Ios class compliant. Or is it restricted for specific apps too?
Anyone have an AZ? And can test?
