Analysis time on older MacBook/workaround?

I have an older MacBook pro (2015 15"), and i love djay but the analysis is taking a long time when using my external drive.

Does djay pro care where the tracks are stored at? I.e: if i take a folder from the external and copy it to macbook and have djay pro analyze it, will it have to re analyze it as if its seeing the file for the first time?

Hi @Beepboop00, this should work, but you might want to try a few tracks first to confirm it’s doing what you need before investing the effort in moving your entire library.

+1 try it out. Depending on your external drive the internal SSD could be a lot faster.
