I use serato crate and not sure if this is just with serato crates but djay doesn’t show if the songs are already analyzed. Eg. If I analyze my library and go back to analyze them. It analyze the whole library instead of newly added tracks.
I would like it to have some type of memory and know that tracks are already analyzed and if I want to do it again. Have some forced option
Everybody says the opposite but you’re right.
It’ll spend time doing “something” even if the entire library was completely analyzed the previous minute.
I agree.
I wonder if perhaps the metadata from serato is confusing you that the crate is already analysed?
Rmember serato writes bpm, cues and loops info into the track’s id3 tag, AND djay reads serato metadata and displays the bpm as reported by serato, even if it has not yet analysed the track!
Could be your issue, but, yes, i agree, djay still re-analyses tracks!
