Android System Status Bar not showing at top of screen

The status bar is not showing at the top of the screen where you can normally see the time, battery level, wi-fi etc.

This started in version 5.6 which I reported to Algoriddm Support but unfortunately it still hasn’t been fixed yet after all the updates.

Thanks for sharing @djsmoothe. I’ll follow up with the support team regarding this. In the meantime, if you rotated your tablet into portrait orientation, is the status bar visible?

Hi @Slak_Jaw , no it still isn’t there in portrait position either.

Thanks for confirming @djsmoothe. Do you have another Android device to test with? On my Android device it’s visible in portrait mode.

I’ve just tested it on my Lenovo M9 tablet which also has Android 13 and djay 5.6.4 and it doesn’t show in landscape or portrait either.

Thanks for checking @djsmoothe. Are you able to update your Android OS? My device is running Android 15.

@Slak_Jaw no unfortunately not, they came with Android 12 and only get 1 OS update to Android 13 which is really annoying…

Understood. I’ll check with our engineering team on Monday to see if they can reproduce this on Android 13.
