Heya, I’m new to DJAY and using it on a PC and Android mobile. Am I missing something here with updates? Is there an option to update to the latest version directly from inside the DJAY App or must I go back to the Microsoft store and Google Play each time to update?
If not checking into the Community how would I know if I am using the most current version? thx
Thanks, this setting was already turned on. It seems the updates take a little while to flow through from the MS Store to the DJAY App.
I’m a recent Serato convert and as a suggestion like they have in the bottom left of the screen as you login, it confirms if you are using the latest version or requires an update. I understand why they have this feature, as they are not in the App Stores and we need to revert to their website to download the newest update. Nevertheless it is reassuring to know at a glance we are using the most up to date version.
Certainly not first world problems, loving the DJAY easy of learning curve. Midi mapping is so much easier.
The only thing, I haven’t found help for is a simple video on how on those very rare occasions I want to manually edit the beatgrids. I am not across when an anchor is used vs downbeat etc.
@Michael_Wisniewski, this means the CDJ3000X connected to a DJM-900NXS2 over Pro-DJ Link can control djay on a computer that is connected via USB to the DJM. Link Preview and Link Cue are not features in djay. The V10 and A9 are currently not supported for Pro DJ link.

Do you have similar explanations as a manual for all the features of the app?
Working through DVS set up, on the PC calibration seems to take 10 to15 minutes per deck. Is the normal for stylus setup? It also seems to ask each time I switch from stylus to Phase and back to Stylus? I’m using Serato Vinyl.
Also, is there a way particularly with Phase (I have set the default to 1,000) to have the vinyl marker on the screen point to 12 o’clock when lining up the vinyl and pressing the cue point for beat juggling. Currently the vinyl marker defaults to wherever the cue point is on the record, which I understand the logic, as it replicates the old school stickers that we would put on vinyl to mark the position of the beat we want to scratch with.
However with the introduction of software and having a visual on the screen it would be great if we could change that setting to default to 12 o’clock each time we line up the vinyl marker and hit a cue point. I was able to do this with Serato and just curious to see if it’s also a setting that can be done with DJAY. Thanks again

Problem you have with Djay Pro and it’s a great problem is that every couple months or so they release more awesome features that would require additional info adding to the manual. Leaving other software platforms in their rear mirrors.
Interested in seeing this improvement for the Rane One MkII as you just did for the DDJ-REV7, which is “fixed lag with instant start enabled”. The lag is pretty bad on the Rane due to the motorized platters.
Yes, I’m very impressed so far with the innovation coming through and the response time to questions and suggestions. I’m looking forward to continuing the journey with DJAY.
Hi @Nubium, close djay, close the App Store, log out of your Apple ID in the Settings then follow the procedure below to perform a Forced Restart Force restart iPad - Apple Support (IE)
After rebooting, make sure to disable any VPN, then log back into your Apple ID and check the App Store again.
