Hello everyone! We’re excited to share our latest djay update. It should be rolling out to the various apps stores in the next 24-48 hours. Thanks!

NEW:

• Added support for Reloop PTB-2 portable DJ mixer
• Added screen support for Pioneer DJ XDJ-RX3 (macOS, Windows)
• Added MIDI actions to move a track from deck 1/2 to 3/4
• Added MIDI actions to stop recording and load on deck

IMPROVEMENTS & FIXES:

• Improved instant double to copy sync state
• Fixed OneLibrary export of hot cue colors
• Fixed OneLibrary missing some cue points at beginning of MP3 files
• Fixed slip mode when playing in reverse
• Fixed dragging tracks from My Collection into other apps sometimes not working (macOS)
• Fixed artwork and track number columns not allowing to be reordered (Windows)
• Fixed searching media library using e.g. Japanese and Chinese keyboards (Android)
• CDJ: populate missing sync slave BPM field on CDJ-2000NXS2 and newer models (macOS, Windows)
• CDJ: fixed jog mode lighting up incorrectly with Pro DJ Link (macOS, Windows)
• CDJ: fixed Pro DJ Link connection issues when changing MIDI configuration of mixer (macOS, Windows)
• DDJ-FLX10: improved splitting/doubling stems
• DJM-S11: mapped deck move actions

You know InMusic gotta let Engine DJ cook for a while to try to get people to convert. I don’t think it’s an Algoriddim issue.

Oh it’s absolutely not on Algoriddim, but for a lot of people it’s a showstopper

When InMusic drops the Stems firmware this will alleviate that a bit.

Hi Slak! I was wondering what this means / is used for…

@Mister_Tuur this does pretty much exactly what it says. If you are recording something in djay, when you press the button mapped to “Stop Recording and Load on Deck 1”, it will do exactly that. Maybe you want to quickly record a loop from the song or mix you are currently playing and drop it onto another deck. I’m sure there a many creative uses for this…

As a relative newcomer to Algoriddim, I’m still blown away by:

1. Just how often the djay app is updated
2. The sheer number of controllers it supports
3. The level of detail provided in the release notes
4. The level of customer-facing support we have via @Slak_Jaw

I wish more companies (in general) followed your lead.

More likely its the firmware still being tested to ensure its bug free and ready for public release.
