Are there plans to allow for Spotify tracks to be incorporated into our playlists like Apple Music does? Serato’s latest update has allowed for this. I always assumed this was a licensing limitation but now I’m curious.

CDJ: Improved audio configuration flow

Hi @James_Gillies,

Previously, when connecting CDJs, we showed a dialog offering users to use CDJ audio devices or mixer audio, depending on what is available. However, this was from when mixers didn’t have auto audio config. Now they do, so this became obsolete.

We changed this behaviour to:

• Never auto configure mixer channel configs from this CDJ dialog - any mixer will auto config anyway.
• Don’t show the dialog if the CDJs are only connected over Pro DJ Link (no USB audio)
• Don’t show the dialog if an EMM and auto audio config device is available (i.e. a mixer)
• The dialog should only show “Use CDJ Audio” or nothing.

After update, I lost all my smart playlists based on musical genre edited on each track, which I also lost on each track on my entire collection.

I didn’t lost stars for instance or cue points.
