๐Ÿ“ฃ ANNOUNCEMENT: djay 5.6.3 for macOS/iOS/Windows/Android

Hello everyone! Weโ€™re excited to share our latest djay update. It should be rolling out to the various apps stores in the next 24-48 hours.

Algoriddim today released a new update to djay Pro across macOS, iOS, Windows, and Android that brings streaming playlist editing directly into the DJ workflow. Users can now create, delete, and pin Spotify playlists, as well as add, remove, and reorder tracks directly inside djay, with all changes automatically syncing instantly back to their Spotify account. This allows DJs to seamlessly discover, prepare, and manage their Spotify playlists directly in djay.

The update also expands djayโ€™s cross-platform streaming workflows across mobile and desktop, adding playlist management for Apple Music, Beatport, Beatsource, TIDAL, and SoundCloud across all platforms โ€“ including now also Windows and Android โ€“ enabling DJs to organize their streaming libraries easily across devices. Migration from Beatsource to Beatport has also been streamlined to ensure a smooth transition for DJs.

NEW:

  • Spotify playlists editing directly inside djay โ€“ add, remove, and reorder tracks without leaving the app
  • Playlist editing now also supported across other streaming services and platforms (Windows and Android)
  • Support for AlphaTheta DJM-V5 and Allen & Heath Xone:K3
  • Support for Reloop Flux and Flux GO DVS audio interfaces (macOS, Windows)

FIXED:

  • Neural Mix state not being copied during instant double
  • EchoVerb Out FX tail not respecting post-fader behavior
  • Cue points not saving when using built-in Scratch Tools
  • Sync on motorized controllers slightly off at track start
  • Possible audio dropouts when adjusting FX wet/dry while using DVS
  • Split audio/video crossfader not appearing when enabled (iOS)
  • Missing minimize library button on iPad (iOS)
  • Overview waveform zoom behaving incorrectly in some modes (iOS)
  • Issues selecting video and Live Photos visualizers (iOS)
  • Missing VoiceOver labels for FX routing buttons (macOS)
  • Settings not saving when installing on an external drive (Windows)
  • ASIO audio routing occasionally updating incorrectly (Windows)
  • CDJ: Improved audio configuration flow
  • CDJ: Fixed scratching sometimes getting stuck after disconnects or jog movement
  • RANE PERFORMER: Fixed LEDs sometimes resetting when selecting hardware FX

Is this is possible for Tidal like Spotify?

@Digital_Jedi are you on djay 5.6.3? Itโ€™s working as expected with my Tidal.

EDIT: Looking at your screenshot you have the playlist sorted by BPM. Please remove the sort by selecting Reset then try to drag and drop the order of the songs.

No Rane system one support?!

Am I mistaken, or do the videos from Mojaxx and Algoriddim suggest that Flux can also be used on mobile devices, but that it doesnโ€™t work properly?

for flux (in previous release) on ipad i solved the delay problem, open djay and after open it shut off ipad bluethoot all working perfect with reloop Flux

i havenโ€™t update again so I hope this trick isn t necessary with new release out now

Hi @realdjpyro, yes it can be used on mobile, but not officially supported as a small issue remains on certain mobile devices. Please see the linked topic for more details: Reloop Flux Go Official Support - #5 by Slak_Jaw
