Hi everyone,

Here are the release notes for the latest version of djay across all platforms. Check out the changelog below!

NEW

• You can now drag and drop tracks from decks onto the media library or onto other decks: simply drag the artwork in the track display (macOS, Windows)
• Support for Pioneer DJ DDJ-XP2, Denon Prime GO+, Numark Mixstream Pro GO, and Mixstream Pro+
• Added new song actions from the loading button menu: Like Song + Add to Queue: simply tap and hold the artwork in the track display (iOS)
• New 4 deck hardware mode user interface optimized for 4 deck controllers (iOS)
• Added option to hide media library sources (Windows, Android)
• Added playlist sorting and analyze library (Android)
• Added option to re-analyze individual tracks via the contextual menu (Windows)

IMPROVED

• FX: improved Gate FX with 1/16 option, Noise Sweep is now independent of level
• VoiceOver: improved accessibility in media library (macOS)
• UI: improved 4 deck layout, added CUE controls, sampler, and quicker access to tools in portrait view (iPhone)
• UI: improved key display in 4 deck mode (iPhone)
• UI: improved CUE enabled state to highlight active state instead of blinking (iOS)
• UI: added option to use vinyl jog in Pro mode (iOS)
• Eject: action can now also be triggered while a track is still loading
• Track loading: made error messages more specific
• Media library: Improved handling of missing library access for local music on macOS 15.1 and later (macOS)
• Performance: overall performance improvements and specifically when sorting large libraries (Windows, Android)

FIXED

• Beat sync: fixed sync when using censor function or Twist FX while triggering cue points on the other deck
• Instant doubles: fixed issues on some controllers
• Media library: fixed control via MIDI in free SoundCloud source (iOS)
• Media library: fixed adding related tracks sometimes not working (macOS)
• Media library: fixed search when using certain characters (macOS)
• MIDI mapping: added missing MIDI mapping actions for microphone (iOS)
• Recording: fixed starting or renaming recordings on some systems (Windows)
• Content packs: fixed issue installing packs on some systems (Windows)
• Various other fixes and improvements

HARDWARE IMPROVEMENTS

• Hercules T7: fixed LED feedback for sync / beat match
• Pioneer DJ CDJ: remember last used Vinyl/CDJ mode (macOS)

hello, thanks a lot but when will it be available. I hope that this version will fix the problem with headphones and will give the possibility to listen to the prepared song without changes on the master output and in stereo on the Reloop beatpad 2 controller

Same question. I’m new to djay pro. The update for my phone app was there today, but not sure how it works for macOS? When it’s available will it just appear? Or do I have to check for updates like you do on serato?

The update popped up on my phone today, but how do I find it for my MacBook? I checked updates in the App Store but nothing showed up. Sorry, I’m pretty to new to djay pro. Coming over from a different software.

It could be automatically installed on your Mac.

That is tricky, but could me the case. Check your version number under “About DJ Pro” and if that is the case check your Auto-update settings of the Mac (Under App Store > Settings).

I just had to click on the download button from the website. It then took me to the update page on the App Store. I just found it weird the update didn’t show up on the App Store without going to the djay pro website first.

Hello, Lenovo Tab M11 android 14 tablet, reloop beat pad 2. Big congratulations for 6 months update V5.2.6 brings stability and speed of action, that’s the most important thing, I would go in this direction, the bells and whistles are needed for fun, at the moment Djay has everything necessary, I would suggest adding support for the middle menu by pressing jog to select songs because this switch on it does nothing during playing and you could jump between the mixer waveform and samples. And I’m waiting for the selection of headphones at the moment of selecting the next song (listening to the prepared song), it still only works in split, what can you hear manipulations on the output. P.S. for those who tell you to choose between an apple and an orange on Android Djay becomes PRO I keep my fingers crossed because it’s a good way.
