For anyone using iPad and Rane One MK2… download the new Rane firmware!
If you’re iOS device is connected to the Rane One for more than an hour, you might have experienced audio issues. The new firmware will address the known issue.
From personal experience, it happened to me at the worst time making me reconsider if MK2 / DJay Pro set up was for me. I couldn’t replicate the issue consistently (which added to the frustration) but when I saw the release notes, only then did I discover it was a Rane issue, not algoriddim.
I DJ sports events so my controller and iPad are connected for several hours, randomly, as the firmware notes stated, audio level and bit-crushed sound issues occurred.
I was DJ’ing at a festival when it happened one time. I don’t wish that panic on anyone…
