when i use beat jump on djay pro its always lag on my macbook air m1 and ipad pro m1, what could be problem ?

try turning quantization off and see if that helps!

I had the same issue and have the same software. There was a significant delay even just hitting the hot cues. I tried to clean the computer memory and changed some settings. Improved a little, but the issue occasionally appears

  1. What is the source of music and does this delay occur with Local Music?
  2. Please share a screenshot of your Quantize settings.
  3. Do you still experience the delay with iCloud Sync turned OFF for djay?

Thanks for the addition info @hardbea7. Please follow the procedure below:

  1. Quit djay.
  2. Make sure you have a backup of your djay Media Library.djayMediaLibrary file on an external drive or cloud service.
  3. If you have previously disabled iCloud for djay Pro in System settings, please make sure it is re-enabled for djay Pro.
  4. Open the app Terminal.app
  5. Run this command: defaults write com.algoriddim.djay-iphone-free CMCResetCloudKitState -bool true
  6. Launch djay

This will reset the CloudKit and clear up any issues related to iCloud sync which could be the source of your delay issues.
