Hi @SnappleDapple2, we don’t have any updates to share on this except that we are working with Apple on it. I’ll report back here when I have news though. Thanks!
Just to reply, i am also having the issue that I have transferred music from my library to Apple Music on my iPad pro. I can see the music in the apple music app, but i can’t see it in the djay app. This is very frustrating.
Hi @bad_devotions, please make sure you check the Local Music Source in djay NOT the Apple Music Streaming Source.
For more info on the difference between Apple Music Streaming, the Music App, iTunes and Local Music please refer to this link:
Having the same issue here.
- I transferred my Spotify playlist to Apple Music (tune my music.com)
- The added playlist shows up on the Apple Music app on iPad Air 3.
But it shows only on the local app tab within Djay pro app, and NOT on the Apple Music streaming tab, within the Djay pro app. Although previously I can see all ,y playlists from there. - But all the tracks on the playlist are greyed out on the local tab. When I tap any of them to load to a deck, a message appears saying they need to be first downloaded on the Apple Music app locally first.
- So I do that. And then return to the djay pro app. Only to find that the playlist isn’t even listed on the local tab anymore!
For troubleshooting I tried:
Logging out of Apple Music within djay Pro app. And logging back in. Hoping this would force a clean sync. But it didn’t help.
Then I tried deleting the playlist in the Apple Music app. (Yes deleted the download and then deleted the playlist from Library ) - and then started again with transferring the playlist to Apple Music again.
But only to face the same issue. It appreas but greyed out on the local tab, but doesn’t appear on the Apple Music streaming tab. I noticed that if I edit the playlists name, it completely disappears.
Hi Slak_Jaw,
Yes I do see the playlist there. But It’s not showing in the djay Pro iPad app. My older playlist do (ones I’ve transferred there over the last months), just not the most recent transferred playlist.
So normally it works.
Okay, thanks for the additional info @Sebastian_Kaye. I wasn’t able to replicate this so I’m going to pass this onto our engineering team for further review. I’ll let you know when I have news or suggestions from them. Thanks!
So after a few hours, The playlist in question, finally showed up in the Djay Pro iPad app. It just took a while.
Hello. it seems same problem for me. Today all my apple music playlists disappear in Djay ! What should I do ? Just wait ?
Try signing out of Apple Music on Mac, signing back in and re sync on Devices.
Any solutions to this persistent issue? I am so frustrated as I am not so tech savvy on top of it… I just recently upgraded my IOS and along with it my Djay… and now cannot seem to access any of my old nor new playlists… sometimes they show up then disappear if I change venues, but mostly they do not show up at all, or show up empty (even after waiting 8 hours) or show up as only one folder out of tens of others… I teach classes with a heavily pre-curated playlist that I work so hard on ahead of each class. This leaves me feeling so anxious with each class now… please HELP?
Hi @Lina_Nahhas, welcome to the Community! Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. Can you please check if your playlists are showing up properly on http://music.apple.com outside of djay? Thanks!
@Slak_Jaw no my music and playlists are not showing on music.apple.com outside of Djay, although they are all showing on my Music (as well as iTunes) on my laptop
Hi again @Lina_Nahhas, since your playlists are not showing on music.apple.com the issue is not within djay. Please contact Apple support to get this working on their side first, then it should work within djay. I hope that helps!
