  • Version of operating system *Sequoia 15.2
  • Version of djay *5.3.2

“Apple music” login keeps popping up for me to log into apple music,
I dont want to use “Apple music” and I dont have an account for apple music,

I’ve unchecked “Apple music” on the side panel cause I only use Tidal streaming,

But I still get the annoying login screen.

Is this “Apples” way of forcing you to sign up with “Apple Music” by using annoying Popup?

Hi @eecy_cee,

  1. Please try disabling Apple Music streaming from the library side panel
  2. In the djay Settings>Library please try logging out of Apple Music streaming.

Hi Slak_Jaw thank you for replying:)

I have unchecked Apple Music from the side panel, it has always been like this, like I mentioned I have never had a Apple Music account never signed in or created a Apple Music account, I’ve always used Tidal Streaming only and nothing else.

in this settings I only have Tidal logged in and not Apple Music.
as shown below. Apple Music and all other streaming are greyed out.

Hi Slak_Jaw
Glad to report, I updated MacOs to the latest Sequoia 15.5, and the issue is gone, Its wierd,

seems to have fixed itself after updating, I also notice DJay Pro running smoother and the grids are on point,

As always Thanks for your help Slak_Jaw :folded_hands:t3::folded_hands:t3:

Excellent! Thanks for the follow up. We think it could be related to the Music app being signed in. If the issue returns, you can check your account status in the Account menu of the Music app.
