It is important that artist get payed for their work. It has always been the houses responsibility to pay royalties. DJay has a nice reporting feature that you can give the house the list of songs played. My question is this, In anyway is this changed because of Spotify? Does my Spotify Premium membership and the fact that they know I played this change anything? In other words for Spotify songs played is the streaming agreement paying the royalties? OR do they collect from both the house and Spotify. How does that work?
