Audio Error code access is denied (-2147024891)

I get a djay pro audio error access is denied (-2147024891) when using a usb speaker as and output. Is this not an available option?

Windows 11 Home - Version 24H2
OS Build 26100.2894
Intel(R) Core™ i9-9820X CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
Rev 1 (but not using it, only wanting the music to stream to my Windows Realtek usb speakers.)
Djay version 5.211033.0

When the controller is plugged in to the PC, I get this error however, when the controller is not plugged in, i do not and the audio works through the speakers. I think i should be able to use any audio device whether or not the controller is plugged in?

  1. What is the source of the music you are using (local music stored on your internal drive, local music on an external drive, SoundCloud, Beatport, Tidal, etc.)?
  2. If local music, what file forma(s)?

Yes, thank you!

cant put any music in, the error comes up upon boot up. However, the files are located in local as well as Icloud. I also have apple itunes as well as apple music.

also there is a error message about latency on these, not sure if that is applicable.


Thanks @DJJC, please check if there is an updated Windows Audio Driver for your Realtek USB speakers on their website.

It is actually Microsoft USB audio and the drivers are up to date. Thanks!
