Summary of the issue:
After upgrading to the latest version of OS on my iPad, Automix runs into issues when the screen turns off. It will start looping the current song playing or the volume will cut off and high pitched sounds will occur.
Once you turn the screen back on and select the next song in the mix it stops but only if the screen stays on. This did not happen before, and does not happen on my iMac or iPhone.
Please advise if this issue will be fixed.
Hi @SC2200, thanks for the details about your setup and the issue. I was not able to replicate this. Can you please try to capture a short video of the issue, upload it to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the video here? Thanks!
I’m using my locally stored Itunes music. I also tried wiping the device completely, reinstalling the OS and Djay app but the problem was still there.
I have the same music/playlists on my Iphone and IMac with no issues? All I can think of is there is a bug with the new OS version for IPad and Djay Pro?
Thanks for the additional info @SC2200. I haven’t been able to replicate this so I need to pass it onto our engineering team for further review. I’ll report back when I have more news. Thanks!
Are there any updates on this issue?
I’ve confirmed that this is also happening when streaming music or just playing any song on either deck. Once the iPad screen turns off the issue occurs.
Hi @SC2200, unfortunately, our engineering team has still not been able to replicate this issue on their end. Are there any other things you can think of that might be contributing to the issue that could help us replicate it?
