What would be a great addition is, sometime when in Neural Mix crossfader if automix is activated, then some very creative mixes or loops can be discovered. For that reason, a loop override when in Neural Mix automix “to hold” the current loop or mix (rather than mix out and lose it).
I discover new mixes this way when I am listening to my tracks with automix. The moment is lost if we can stop the current creative automix and just hold it a little longer, then release it.
For example, automix is engaged by a REALLY creative random mix is being made by automix and you want to stay in that mix longer, you can engage the loop function in red and then maybe figure 8 on the effects pad for a nice buildup before releasing the mix.
Hi @Oscar_Castro, thanks for the suggestion. I’m not sure I 100% understand what you are suggesting here. Can you please try to share some additional details on how this might work to ensure that I communicate this clearly to the dev team? Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks for the screenshot and additional clarification. Cool idea. I have passed this onto the dev team for consideration.
Hi again @Oscar_Castro, I discussed this with the dev team. It would be helpful to better understand your exact goal and use case here. Could you please record a quick video demonstrating/simulating what the actual output would sound and look like? Thanks!
Hi again @Oscar_Castro. I’m following up on my post from a week ago.
The exact goal is to extend a mix when automix is on and hold the mix somewhere it the middle rather than just mixing out of the mix.
So, for example, an automix generated Neural mix can’t be held in the middle because sometimes you get some random awesome mixes, which you would like to extend the mix in the middle, but instead the mix ends at its current preset from typically a 4 for 8 bar mix. The reason for this is, when automix is engaged, automix overrides anything you do. Even if you like to the mix and what to hold the mix in the middle of the mix, you can’t. The loop feature would allow you to loop all decks and current neural effects to extend the mix, otherwise automix just ends with whatever mix preset you had 4, 8, …

Yes, I will record a video on my iPad and post it to demonstrate what I mean. Thank you.

Thanks for the additional explanation @Oscar_Castro. Looking forward to you video.
I think with the latest update, my recommendation for this is not needed. But thank you for your openness to suggestions and please close this suggestion.
You’re welcome @Oscar_Castro. Thanks for the follow up.
