Thanks. I’m just not comfortable the day before a wedding to delete djay pro and reinstall etc.
I don’t blame you. I’d say use your iPad without the RANE One for the Automix then.
I hope no one else runs into this issue at their gigs this weekend, but it would help me feel less insane since the issue just started.
I posted to YouTube and Reddit to see if I’m not the one.
Okay, sounds good. Please let me know if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.
Is there anyway to get more people to see this post? I can’t be the only one experiencing this before a huge weekend?
Not that I can think of @jmoak311. Maybe share a link to this topic somewhere else like Reddit?
Hi @jmoak311, I just wanted to make a brief follow up and let you know that we’ve had some similar reports to yours via our official support channel. So far, the issue seems to be isolated to hardware with rotating platters. Do you have another DJ controller that you could test with that doesn’t have spinning platters? Thanks!
I had a feeling it might be related to the spinning platters. I have a Reloop Ready buried in my trailer. I could try and pull out at some point. Nasty heat wave where I’m located atm. The Ready is an internal mixer, I wonder if that’s part of the issue. I’ll report back asap.
Sounds good. Thanks @jmoak311
Hi again @jmoak311, I have moved this issue to it’s own topic as it seems to be a different issue than the original topic. Also, our hardware engineering team has been able to reproduce this issue. They are investigating further. I’ll share more news when I have it. Thanks!
Thank you!!! ![]()
You’re welcome @jmoak311
I’m having the same issue! Worked fine on the iPad version, and works on the computer without hardware, but with the Rane One plugged in with moving platters, it does this. Basically just loads each deck and keeps both decks played, essentially playing two playlists of every other song in the automix queue.
Hi @djcolecoleman, welcome to the Community! Thanks for sharing. Can you please share the full details of your setup as well?

- Device model (e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen): iPad Pro 11 3rd gen
- Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1): iPad OS 26.5
- Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2): 5.6.6
- Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro): DDJ-Rev 7
- Hardware firmware version (e.g. 1.0.1): DDJ-Rev 7 ver 2.01
- Please consider sharing a short video or screenshots to help clarify your issue
A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:
- Automix loads the next song on DDJ-Rev 7 and it plays immediately with the current song. You hear both songs at the same time. It does work correctly on my M1 Macbook Pro.
B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Connect DDJ-Rev 7 to iPad/iPhone and select Automix mode.
C) EXPECTED RESULTS:
- The jog wheel should stop before loading the next track.
D) ACTUAL RESULTS:
- The jog wheel continues to spin so the next track plays along with the current track.
Hi @Grand_Stan, thanks for the detailed info and video. I have merged your new topic with this existing one. Our engineering team has been able to reproduce this issue and they’re investigating further.
I didn’t think to search the issue under motorized platters. Thanks @Slak_Jaw
You’re welcome @Grand_Stan
Exactly the Same Problem here with Rane Performer.
Macbook Pro M1 latest OS latest Firmware latest Driver Version latest Djay Pro
Problem Comes with the Latest Update from djay Pro
Friend of Mine with Nearly a Same Specs and rain Performer, also have the Problems with Automix
Thanks for the detailed info @Terry_Wegner. Our engineering team has identified the issue and is working on a fix which should be included in an upcoming update (likely 5.6.7). Thanks!
