automix with persistent beat matching despite auto-sync BPM off

I would like to use automix without auto-sync BPM. It is clearly off. Yet the software continues to erratically beat match every song or two. I tried to restart it – no change. This is very weird and puzzling. Any idea what the problem might be?

Shuffle Yes
Max duration 8 min
Start transition 5 sec
Use start… Yes

Hi there,

have you tried reducing the Duration of the Automix Transition to 0, if you want a direct not matched Transition?
