Tell me more
if you mean the 68 to 135 bpm range? thats already selected. do you recommend another selection?
problem is RNB tracks and RAP tracks all SORTED correctly then DJ Pro Corrects the correction on a track load, ive tried what you suggested with range (68-135) and no range
same outcome
those songs flip from 65 to 130 on a track load sorted as 65 reading 135 and even more Tools bar Shows 65 but plays 130 or vice versa. its dfntly a bug. Don’t care about the bug to be honest
the app functions fine apart from that, thats not so much of a problem to me batch correcting them would be better fix.
So say all your tracks are between 70 and 110 and the software is analysing them at 140 or 220 (doubling the bpm) but you don’t want it to. You can use range 58-115 and the software will avoid doubling.
Same goes for say DnB that is usually around 150-180bpm, the software often analyses at 75-90, so you can avoid it doing that by using the 98-195 range. That way it only ever analyses at the correct speed.
I use different ranges for analysis depending on what genre of music im trying to add.
Nah no matter what its the same problem consistently just differnt bpms, im ok with that its just id prefer to sort them correctly and batch edit bpms for sorting. also take notice of track loading changes the data. so i tried to just do it in serato but as soon as i play the song boom new bpm goes elsewhere in the library
@Owe_Marley also, note that you need to properly re-analyze the songs for any of the settings/BPM changes to take effect.
For songs that have been previously analyzed, you need to select one or multiple tracks in the Library and then “Analyze” (using Right/Control-Click on macOS, or track selection mode on iOS). This is the only option that will re-analyze the track and overwrite existing information like Key and BPM.
I swear im right click analyzing in my video im showing how the two BPMs appear in the editor where you can use anchor markings and on the sorting colummn and deck loaded.
Hi @Owe_Marley, thanks for the video, that really helps. Sorry, made my post before watching it. You’re re-analyzing the right way, and the BPM column does update. The flip happens on the deck: within about half a second of loading, the deck BPM drops to half the Library value (60 > 30, 108 > 54).
On some of those tracks (She Ready, Money on Money, March Madness), Reset is lit in the Beatgrid editor. That points to a saved beatgrid edit on those tracks. Analyze keeps most beatgrid edits and reapplies them to the new grid, so that old edit keeps coming back.
Try this on one track first:
Load the track and open the Beatgrid editor from the Tools bar.
Click Reset. If Reset isn’t lit, skip this step.
If it still shows half, click x2, then eject and reload to see if it holds.
