  • Device model (MacBook Pro late 2015):
  • Version of operating system (macOS Monterey v12.7.6):
  • Version of djay (v5.2.4):
  • Hardware/controllers used (Pioneer DDJ FLX10):

Summary of the issue:
The auto beat detection on my controller always shows as 120bpm in the Beat FX screen and never changes. I’m not sure if this is by design or because of something to do with one of my pieces of hardware or a an actual bug

How to reproduce the issue:
Connect the flx 10, play a track and notice the BPM at 120 in the Beat FX screen

Where’s the channel selection knob? Do you have it set to the playing channel?

Have you set the mode to auto or tap?

It is the same for every channel (I ensure I’m selecting the channel that is playing). It is almost to auto rather than Tap. I can use tap and when I set back to auto it goes back to 120bpm

Hi @Leigh_Brown, this is a known limitation with the hardware. This display is locked out by the manufacturer so djay cannot control it.

@Slak_Jaw thanks for the reply, as long as it’s behaving as expected. :+1:
