Beat Jump before start of song loses sync

• When I beatjump when sync, sometimes sync doesn’t work well like it’s swimming somewhere and in the end it’s not on the right spot. In the video I played the track on deck 2 in the beginning of the drop of track 1 (bar 76), I always jump 8 beats. jumped few times, and when track on deck 2 appears, it’s not on the right place, as you can see, 2 beats missing.

• This issue happens sometimes and now I almost never jump more than 8 beats because of missing sync. Have been waiting for a long time to fix this but stiil not fixed

Hi @explash, thanks for the details about your setup and for the video - this is very helpful.

1. Does this only happen when you beat jump backwards before the beginning of the song?
2. Do you have SYNC on or off?
3. Does this also happen when your DJ controller is not connected and you use the onscreen beat jump controls?
4. Can you please check if the songs used in your video are Dynamic BPM or Straight BPM?

1. Mostly yes. When I beat jump forward, sync works okay
2. Sync is on
3. This problem is everywhere, not only controller
4. Second track (Alice Merton) is dynamic (114.4-117.3), first is straight, and as I understand, problems are always with dynamic bpms, not only these tracks, but I had opportunity to film these

Rarely even when I jump forward, some issues happen too, but not so bad, sync in djay doesn’t work in moment, it always needs millisecond to become straight

I’ll try! Will keep it in my mind, but it happens ultrarare. The main issue is in the topic, that happens almost every set

In the meantime, instead of beat jumping backwards before the start of the track, could you use a loop?
