We need Beat Jump feature. Especially useful for moving and adjusting loops. This is similar to the current “Skip” rotary command, but with Quantized jumping.
The most basic is to jump with the “loop size”, so we can move the loop forward or backward, allowing us to prolong the mix properly.
Ideally, I would love to have a single beat move as an increment option, and be able to adjust badly timed loops, which start on the 2nd or 3rd beat of a phrase.
These will improve the looping usability a lot! MIDI mappable, of course.
There are multiple requests for this in the Old Forum
+1 for this. Out of votes. Yes the existing skip/beat jump could be improved. I prefer to have the jump increment based on the current loop size. Also the ability to adjust the loop in and out points while in a loop would be great.
We have this already, and it’s called “Skip”. It was my mistake for not seeing it, and only looking at the Seek, which is time based.
The Skip is mappable to the either a Rotary encoder or a button. The full scale of button values is there - from 1/8 to 4 bars. Jump with the loop size is also possible in both directions.
So Skip does the job. No need of improvement here. Thank you!
