Beatmix and VJay

so is the original Reloop Beatmix controller compatible with the iPad (I have the original iPad Pro 12.7")?

I do have them connected rather awkwardly with a Lightning to HDMI adapter (the kind that has both female HDMI and Lightning plugs) and into the female Lightning plug I have plugged the Lightning to USB2 adapter (which has both a female Lightning and USB2 plug)…into HDMI I have the projector and into the USB adapters female lightning I have a Lightning cable going to my iMac (for power).

But the Beatmix isn’t getting any power, or not enough to power up.

Am I beating my head against the wall or is it technically possible but maybe the Beatmix is not getting enough power?

Anyone knows how/whether it can work?

Then let me ask this in a simpler fashion:

> is the Beatmix known to work with *any* iOS apps or is it not recognized by iOS?

I am sorry to tell you but the Beatmix is not supported in general by djay/vjay,
not even with your creative cable management :wink:
