Beatpad 2: how to use the preview function?

I believe this should be possible but i can’t seem to find out which key to use, perhaps anyone can shed some light on this?

Hi Lukas,

Thank you for your reply. I’m using the Beatpad 2 controller which i believe has a separate channel for the headphone output built in. I can use the preview function by long-pressing a track in Djay and selecting preview, but i would like to activate the preview by pressing a button on the Beatpad 2, without having to reach for the ipad.

Ahh got it, it seems to be shift + left-cue, thanks for pointing me in the right direction Lukas!

Which external device / splitter cable are you using in order to Pre Cue?

Hi Olivier,

you can do so by pressing the two headphone icons right next to the browse knob in the middle of the Beatpad 2.
