In the djay app on iOS and iPadOS when loading the Beatport Link “Liked Tracks” playlist, the songs always load in a weird order. The songs that I liked most recently are listed randomly in the middle of the playlist, rather than at the top of the list. This is rather annoying because if I like a song, then I have to go searching for it.
This started happening when I added songs to the Beatport Link “Liked Tracks (djay)” playlist through the Beatport website. Is it possible to fix this?
Welcome to our Community, and thanks for reaching out about this issue with Beatport LINK’s playlists.
I’ve tried to reproduce the issue as you’ve described it, but every time I add a new track to the “Liked Tracks (djay)” playlist through the Beatport website, the newest added songs appear at the top of the list in djay Pro AI’s Liked Tracks Beatport playlist.
Thank you so much for getting back to me. I just tried to upload a video
demonstrating this issue but the file may have been too large. Here is a
link to the video.
Hi Lee, I’ve seen that you’ve contacted our Support Team via email and shared a link to your video there. Please continue the conversation via email with our team so they can provide you with individual support. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention!
Just following up on this thread with the information provided to @legstrong via email from our Support Team.
Our Development Team was able to track down the issue here, and they’re working on a fix which should be included in the next update to djay Pro AI on iOS. It appears that some issues occur when the Beatport Liked Tracks playlist holds more than 400 tracks. When the next update is available, be sure to download it on the App Store and let us know if you encounter any additional problems.
Thanks again for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your help in making djay even better!
