with Beatport adding streaming to their list could mean other thing brewing in the mist. Who wouldn’t love to have a similar setup like spotify, but with Beatport instead? I myself can see Serato or Traktor taking part in a collaboration with them. Probably more likely Traktor over Serato. Since Serato has the White Labels available I can see them implementing that as free service because its free to Serato users to use already adding streaming wouldn’t be hard to implement. Offering it for free would help push users towards Serato DJ and away from what they currently use or maybe thinking of using. This also makes understand the recent pop up of DJay Pro. Seem algoriddim shot DJay Pro out to the public without more than a weeks notice during the holiday season which to me seemed funny till now and makes me speculate that they know something we all don’t. I have been reading through a lot post about the problems people are having with DJay Pro and wonder to myself was this software rushed out with bugs and quirky problems for a reason? Maybe, maybe not… but I think we will all find out after the first of the year. Makes me happy I haven’t drop my 50 bucks just yet because maybe there is another option for me later down the road.
