I’ve set up my iPad with a FLX4 to output my audio to the JBL in the past but it was one of those things that was very janky. Worked sometimes… would cut out audio etc.
I found a dedicated way to make it work and give constant audio. Least in my experience, would I use this in professional manner no.
The delay in my experience is around .2-.3 seconds if even that. Tested by setting a loop.
Please don’t patch this dev team.
Step 1: plug controller into device. Connect Bluetooth speaker to iPad/iphone
Step 2: open Djay and load a track, loop it and press play( so track doesn’t end when your setting it up)
Step 3: Use Stage Manager/drag a Spotify window that’s showing right above your Djay app.
(Unsure how to on mobile… might have to do some testing)
Step 4: go to song screen on Spotify should say playing via “wired connection” under track, click it and change to your Bluetooth speaker.
Possible error 4.5: if you don’t see Bluetooth option, you have to play the song on Spotify. It should pop up now
Step 5: you should hear your Djay app loop playing thru Bluetooth. Can exit Spotify now.
(Also if no audio make your controller is knobs and levers are in right position.)
