Bought split cable but.......

I have just bought the split output cable. I am running djay pro 2 on my MacBook. I wanted to use the main speaker through the MacBook speakers whilst queuing the next track on headphones but when I put in the cable I only get the music through the headphones. can anyone help??

did you select “Split Output” in the audio device settings?

Which exact splitter did you purchase?
