BPM Change Region Markers are Missing in 5.5

  • Device model (e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen): M5 iPad Pro 13"/iPhone 16 Pro / M4 Pro MacBook Pro
  • Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1): iPadOS 26.0.1 / iOS 26.0.1 / macOS 15.7.1
  • Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2): 5.5
  • Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro): FLX10 & No Controller

Summary of the issue:
I have noticed that the Minute Markers & BPM Change Region Markers are missing (I use pro mode but noticed it in other modes). I have tried tracks where the BPM Change Region Markers used to show.

How to reproduce the issue:
Load a track where there is a BPM change, no BPM Change Region Markers will show. Minute Markers don’t appear to be showing on any track

Hi @Leigh_Brown, can you please share some screenshot? I checked on my iPad and iPhone running iOS 26.0.1 and djay 5.5 and both the minute markers and tempo change markers are visible for me.

I can see the minute markers now, however please see below lack of tempo change markers. I have checked that it is switched on in settings. Please see attached screen shots:

Thanks for the screenshots @Leigh_Brown. Is this the only song you noticed this with? Is this a local track or streaming track? Thanks!

Personal experience on my mac:
Sometimes they’re there, sometimes they’re not (for the same track, local on external SSD).

Can’t reproduce, can’t predict. I just know it happens

That is a streaming track from Apple Music, however I have seen it from my own local tracks as well.

Oddly when I checked the tracks you used on Apple Music, it showed the markers so it seems more hit and miss

Okay, thanks for the additional info @Leigh_Brown. I was able to replicate this on my setup using AM Streaming with Bohemian Rhapsody, but so far this is the only track. I will pass this onto engineering for further review. In the meantime, if you notice any other songs, please share screenshots here. Thanks!
