Hello Algoriddim Team,
Thank you for your excellent work on djay. I’ve been a djay user for many years and recently upgraded from djay Pro 2 to the latest version.
I really appreciate the new features and improvements. However, there is one feature I truly miss: the classic overview waveform from djay Pro 2.
In my opinion, the previous overview waveform was much clearer and easier to read at a glance. It made it much easier to recognize the structure of a track, identify breakdowns, drops, transitions, and energy changes during a performance.
The current overview waveform is much less readable, especially on iPad. It relies mostly on red and white tones, making it harder to quickly understand a track’s structure compared to the classic djay Pro 2 overview waveform.
Would it be possible to bring back the classic djay Pro 2 overview waveform as an optional display mode? Keeping the current design as the default while offering the classic waveform as an option would satisfy both new users and long-time users.
This single feature would make a significant difference to my experience. In fact, it is one of the very few things I miss from djay Pro 2, and it would very likely encourage me to subscribe to the latest version of djay.
I’m sure many long-time users would appreciate having this option back.
Thank you for considering my suggestion, and thank you for continuing to improve such an outstanding DJ application.
Best regards, Enrico
