Can I Pre-Cueing on Android without the Griffin DJ Cable?

I have the app on my Note 4 Android phone. It is the free version, and so far, I love it. I want to buy the full version mainly to be able to pre-cue in my headphones, but the website shows the DJ Cable by Griffin. It appears to be a normal headphone splitter, of which I own several. I don’t want to buy what I already have. Does anybody know if you can pre-cue using one other than the Griffin one listed.

Hey Julian,

Your cable just needs to split a stereo signal into two separate mono signals, so you don’t necessarily need the Griffin DJ Cable
