Can you 'bulk' scan for bpm in Djay?

I’m very new to Djay, so please go easy on me :slight_smile:

I want to import a load of tracks from an external source into iTunes to then add to the playlist I intend to use in Djay on my IDJ Pro. The problem is, Djay seems to work out the bpm only when you load the track for the first time.

Is there any way of ‘bulk’ scanning for the bpm without having to load each track in turn?

Hi Dom,

This feature is currently only available in the Mac version.

I’m not 100% sure, but the iOS version can’t do that. I would suggest downloading the free MixMeister BPM Analyzer. It scans your songs and assings the bpm info into ID3 tags which djay can read :slight_smile:
