Cannot display video / visualization on external screen

Hi

I\m on Sierra Beta 2. DJay 1.4.2
External display does not work. I’m always getting fullscreen output at my laptop screen or not at all (though icon says external display is connected)

i tried to reproduce the issue but was not able to. 
Are you working with 10.12.2 Beta (16C48b)?

Same here on a Macbook Air with Sierra 10.12.5. When selecting the video device for fullscreen it is display on the main screen.
Tried with a projector and AppleTV. Looks like Apple changed anything on Sierra. An old Mac has no Problems.

Do you need any logs? Or can I try something
