I chose the output of the internal mixer as my prism sound lyra1 and all it does is produce digital snippets of clipped sounds? Ridiculous, nothing else on my laptop has ever had an issues with the lyra. Sound plays fine when set to built in speakers of laptop. Absolute deal breaker - any help/suggestions at all?

Is the Lyra showing up in System Prefs ok? Sometimes I have to check both Djay’s prefs and the system prefs, (but the sound you describe I have to say is an issue I have not come up against with this s/w.)
Beyond the above is Audio Midi Setup in the Utilities folder, it might be worth having a look at that … (sorry I can’t be more helpful)
