Cannot use Software FX on DJM S7 & S9

Hi
I am new to Djay pro.
Please tell me if you know.

This is my problem
When i try to use software FX of djaypro, sounds turn to mute. And the small screen on the mixer shows me nothing. And then i change software FX to hardware FX mode on my DJM s7 i can hear the sounds again. What is my problem? Please teach me.

Hello, I have just bought a DJM S9, and I have the same problem. Did you find a way to fix it ?

I am using Djay pro on MacBook Pro M4.

I belive what Djzzam means is using the software fx on the DJM-S7. It’s premade for serato software effects. Maybe if you investigate mapping it’s possible to re-do it and use the buttons there, but somehow I remember I just decided to give up and use pad fx for software effects within djaypro.

on S-11 there’s dedicated software effects buttons which also work not the same way I would expect them to (they do work, just I do not like it), so I unmapped everything and use them as a idfferent hardware effects selection). hope that helps somehow.

Yeah, it’s serato specific effects inside mapping. Same thing on S7, it just doesn’t work. It does on S11 though.

@Akrilovy Thanks for your feedback. Did you find a useful way to use these buttons ? On the DJM S9 you cannot define hardware Fx on these command

No, I only use them as a hardware fx selection on the S7.
