I’m using Asus Chromebook CX1500CN, which I understand supports Android apps.
I’m using Version 126.0.6478.222 (64-bit)
I am unable to install Djay from the Play Store.
Please advise.

Can you please share more details on what exactly this issue is? Are you getting an error message or anything? Are you downloading djay from the official Play Store? Please share some screenshots or a short video to clarify the problem. Thanks!
I am not able to install Djay on this device. When I go to the Play Store and search for Djay, it does not show up in search results indicating it is not supported on this device.
Also no results when I search for Algoriddim.
What region are you in? Are you able to access and download from the Play Store on other Android devices?
Please try updating your Chrome OS and Play Store to the latest versions.
I’m in the US.
I don’t have any other Android devices.
I’m using the latest version of Chrome OS as detailed above.
I’m using Play Store version 47.2.20, which is the latest.
So when I search the Play Store for ‘Algoriddim’ I get a message:
djay - DJ App & AI Mixer by Algorridim isn’t available on Google Play on this device.
Documentation indicates this machine should be able to run Android apps.
Any ideas?
Thanks for the additional info @Greg_L. Let me check with our hardware team to see if this is an expected limitation with your specific device or not.
If that’s what it says, then that’s probably the case. It’s not unusual for some apps to be incompatible with certain Android devices. There can be various reasons for this, such as the Android version used or hardware that doesn’t meet certain specifications.
ok fine. can you tell me the technical spec/marketing indicator i’m looking for which enables the use of djay. or can you identify a <$100 chromebook which is known to run djay and has at least 64gb disk?
Hi @Greg_L, sorry for the delayed response. Please see below for a list of supported Chromebooks:
I hope that helps!
Ok - got the new Chromebook with the Alder Lake chipset.
So, djay (djapp & ai mixer) is available on the play store. I was able to install and run it. It does not have the playlist related features I need.
Will Djay Pro or Djay Pro 2 run on Chromebook? I do not see those in the Play Store.
Hi @Greg_L, can you please confirm which Algoriddim djay app you were able to install? Perhaps a screenshot of the Play Store when you search for Algoriddim djay as well. Thanks!
