Hey guys,
My itunes library does not appear and I’ve tried the usual things of refreshing djay as well as rebuilding my entire library. Are there any steps I can take to fix this?

EDIT: There was an update for iTunes a few days ago, is this related?
i get the exact same thing yet i have never moved my library, only have one library and it’s in the default location. i click ok repeatedly and it doesnt see it, try to select the folder thus directing it to music, or the itunes media folder, or the itunes music folder and click ok and it still comes up with the pop up. eventually clicking ok works but can sometimes be 30 ok presses before it accepts it. need a solution quickly as this has been going on too long and i use this program for my disco business!
that location is the default location that window shows every time it comes up!
I have same problem now with High Sierra MacOS, iTunes and DJ Pro, tried the above advices but with no luck…
Edit: it seems like its because I use Apple Music… just strange it worked earlier… but must have been old music that was not part of Apple Music…

Were there any error messages when you launched djay? Do you have multiple iTunes libraries on your Mac?

Generally speaking, you can try to delete the “iTunes Music Library.xml” file and let iTunes generate a new one (simply start and quit iTunes).
If you are running Mavericks, there is a problem that they are working on.
Same re-occuring problem for me! Help! Can’t afford to messing around with this all the time. Affects confidence level in the program.

No errors or warnings, and no just the single one. Are there any log files around that I can look at and provide you with?

New update has fixed everything! 
I get no error messages either. Just tried the djay demo version and the same thing happens - djay doesn’t ask to see any library and won’t refresh because it says there is no music to refresh. My itunes works fine and my 150+ playlists are all there. They seem to be in .itl files. I know djay needs .xml files but it won’t even ask to use them. I have the hardest time with djay which is really frustrating because I like the look of the software and I have NEVER been able to rely on it. PLEASE HELP!!
I constantly get the window popping up asking to press “ok” to open my iTunes library but when I do, it keeps popping up in a constant loop. How do I solve this?
I’ve got a gig at a festival on Saturday and have the same problem… I’m freaking out…
The warning screen appeared after I clicked on refresh library. Now nothing seems to stop the screen repeatedly coming up.

I just purchased pro, I was happy with the prior version and have used it for some parties with great results using Spotify. However, I have custom mixes created in third party applications like Logic or files in .wav that I need to integrate and just throw into iTunes for playlist quick access to mingle with other tracks. Despite restarts and various approaches I’m not even asked for a window to access iTunes at all and it appears blank. HELP!
I was able to fix my issue by going into iTunes -> preferences -> advanced
and check the checkbox Share my iTunes library xml with other applications. Then hit the refresh library button in djay.
ok friends i think i found a solution to the problem all you have to do is to quit the djay software click on your iTunes preference tab on advance and mark share iTunes library xml with other application it think it might work for you
