Can't select between 2 Audio devices on iOS

I have:

  • Device iPhone 15
  • Numark Dj2Go2 Touch
  • Allen and Heath Xone: DB4 (with Revival USB soundcard mod to make it class compliant)

I want to be able to use the Allen and Heath mixer as my audio device (which works when the Numark Dj2Go Touch is not plugged in).

As soon as I plug in the Numark Dj2Go2 Touch in (I want to use it as Midi controller only, not audio device), it takes over the audio device control from the Allen and Heath.

It doesn’t seem obvious where to select the audio device - it just automatically selects for me.

Any advice?

  • Device model (e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
  • Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1):
  • Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2):
  • Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro):

Your question/suggestion/feedback:

Hi @Bartholomew_Sullivan, welcome to the Community! Typically iOS will default to using the last device connected as the audio interface. So, I recommend that you launch djay, first connect your DJ2GO Touch, wait a few seconds, then connect your Allen & Heath mixer.

Yup - that seemed to work. Thanks
