From time to time it happens that a new configuration is available for a controller or similar. Unfortunately, it does not say what is new or different. Is it possible to read this somewhere? I generally use a heavily modified mapping. I might be happy to put up with the effort of redoing it, but if only small things have changed that I might not even use, I would like to avoid that.

Yeh or better yet, update the config automatically then merge all the user changes back in if it’s cleanly possible… or if not, ask the user what it should do.

I can see how this would be beneficial, especially with greatly customized mappings for various use cases.
