Changing the auto-detected BPM on iPhone doesn't change the beat grid.

Sometimes on the iPhone DJay gets the BPM and beat grid totally wrong. Is there any way to set them manually. I have tried the ‘Tap’ function but whilst this changes the stated BPM it doesn’t seem to change the grid? Am I missing a trick?

Hi Nick,

We’ve improved the “Edit Grid” feature with one of the recent updates. Which djay version do you have? If you have djay 2.6.1 try the following:

switch to waveform view

tap the correct BPM

pause the song

move the song so that the red cursor line is right where the downbeat should be

tap the “Edit Grid” icon and select “Set Grid”

djay should now re-anaylze your song.
