Summary of the issue:
Listening back to my recording there are crackling sounds in the transitions, the interface also becomes slow.

How to reproduce the issue:

Hi @ChubbyRobot, welcome to the Community! This sounds like it could be a performance issue with your laptop.

  1. Please start by ensuring you have the latest FLX6 firmware from Pioneer.
  2. Make sure you have the latest ASIO audio drivers as well.
  3. Finally, you will like.y need to make adjustments to you ASIO driver latency and buffer size. The smaller the buffer size the lower your latency will be, but the more it will impact performance leading to things like crackling and sound cuts in the audio signal. Essentially, you need to experiment with the settings by starting with a high buffer size, and testing for sound issues. Then keep lowering it until you hear sound issues. Once you find this point, set it a bit higher to where there are no sound issues. Hopefully, at that level, your latency will still be acceptable.

I hope that helps!
